Mulholland joins the Birmingham-based firm from Finsbury Food Group, where she held the role of group quality excellence lead.
She first joined Finsbury Food Group in 2018 as technical lead, having previously spent time as head of technical at 2 Sisters Food Group earlier in her career.
This marks Mulholland’s third spell with the poultry specialist. She worked for the business from 2007 to 2014, and again from 2017 to 2018.
She has also held technical leadership roles at Welsh manufacturer Brace’s Bakery and health food manufacturer Raisio.
Having built up more than 25 years of experience in the food manufacturing sector, executive search firm Clarity says Mulholland has “built extensive expertise across food safety, quality, technical excellence and continuous improvement within complex high-care and low-risk production environments.”
Clarity added that she will bring “a strong track record of driving quality culture, operational standards and best practice across large-scale food manufacturing businesses.”
In a post on LinkedIn announcing her move, Mulholland wrote: “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as technical director for the meal solutions division at 2 Sisters Food Group.
“A big thank you to everyone at Finsbury Food Group for the last eight years. I’ve been fortunate to have had some excellent and rewarding experiences, great coaching and support, and valuable opportunities for progression and development.”
She added: “I’m grateful for everything I’ve learned and the people I’ve had the opportunity to work with along the way. I’m looking forward to the next chapter!”
