Cereal firm appoints new technical manager
Silvery Tweed Cereals appointed Mark Johnson as its new technical manager, with the aim of maintaining its product quality and safety and guarantee supply chain traceability.
Johnson takes up the role following a promotion from the auditing and training position he took up when he joined The Berwick-upon-Tweed business 12 months ago.
He will bring almost 20 years’ experience to the role.
Johnson said: “Consumer confidence and major brands depend on us being at the top of our game with regard to product information and safety compliance, which is why we never rest on our laurels and are continuously reviewing what we do.”
