Consumers eye frozen fish brand
Frozen food brand Bird’s Eye took the sixth spot on the list of products Brits regularly put in their basket.
Founded in the US by Clarence Birdseye in 1924, the brand and its underlying business has different owners in various territories.
It is operated by Pinnacle in the US, JR Simplot Company in Australia and Nomad Holdings in Europe.
Nomad Holdings snapped up Bird’s Eye’s parent company Iglo Foods for a whopping £1.87bn in April.
