Cadbury’s Dairy Milk still popular after 110 years
Taking the final space on the list of the most popular food a drink brands in the UK is Cadbury’s Dairy Milk.
Cadbury’s Dairy Milk was launched in June 1905 and was sold in unwrapped blocks that could be broken down into penny bars.
Gradually it became more and more successful, until it was Cadbury’s biggest seller by the beginning of the First World War. By the early 1920s it had taken over the UK market, the firm claimed.
Last year, 72.7% of the UK population purchased Cadbury’s Dairy Milk on average 8.9 times.
