FSA restructures microbiology committee
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) restructured its Advisory Committee on the Microbiological Safety of Food.
Mondelēz International’s microbiology department manager for Europe Peter McClure and University of Cambridge lecturer Dr Dan Tucker were both appointed to the board that provides the FSA with independent advice on the microbiological safety of food.
Both were appointed on April 1 2014 and will hold their positions until March 31 2018. Neither has carried out political activity in the past five years nor currently holds any other ministerial appointments.
The FSA also reappointed Professor David McDowell, David Nuttall and Rosie Glazebrook to the committee.
