Noble Foods appoints ABP veteran as new boss
Noble Foods appointed ABP veteran Andrew Cracknell as its new chief executive, effective January 14 2014.
Cracknell will take over from Peter Thornton, who has decided to stand down from the role after five years.
Thornton will remain with the egg producer as a non-executive director and as the chairman of its desert business Gü and Noble Foods Inc – the US arm of the company.
Michael Kent, co-founder of Noble Foods, said: “Having played a key role in helping to transform the fortunes of the business. Peter has decided to change career direction by working in more of a non-executive capacity in the future.
“I am pleased to say that we will continue to benefit from Peter’s knowledge and experience.”
