The launch of Food Manufacture 360 (FM360) comes at a time of significant disruption for the food and drink sector, with manufacturers faced with evolving, complicated regulations; shifting consumer behaviours; advances in artificial intelligence; supply chain pressures; and heightened scrutiny around food safety and resilience.

The inaugural FM360 event will take place on the 9 February 2027 at the Hilton Metropole in Birmingham. The one-day event will feature two content streams covering a wide-range of topics including:

  • Big picture matters such as food economics, operational strategy and performance, and resilience
  • Regulatory and technical discussions such as EU realignment, allergens and spotting fraud
  • Insight-centric panels on GLP-1s, major F&B trends, and algorithm-driven shopping

The event has been created to bring different departments, categories, and industry stakeholders together to encourage cross-sector collaboration and knowledge-sharing. Along with giving attendees updates on the latest trends and changes, FM360 will also give them a comprehensive understanding of what challenges they can control and resolve against a complex and ever-shifting food and drink landscape.

The diverse programme lends itself well to those working across NPD, category, R&D, regulation, technical, QA/QC, supply chain, finance, and operations.

Food Manufacture’s editorial team developed the content for FM360 in collaboration with a panel of industry stakeholders, including representatives from IGD, the Food Standards Agency, independent consultants and those working within manufacturing directly, to ensure the content addresses the most-pressing needs of the sector.
