The alcohol-free beer brand is recalling all 330ml four-packs of its Hazy IPA with a best-before date of 13 August, because some cans may become over-pressurised and rupture unexpectedly.
In a customer notice, a Lucky Saint spokesperson said: “We are recalling Lucky Saint 0.5% Hazy IPA 4 x 330ml because some cans may become over-pressurised.
“This can cause cans to swell, leak or rupture unexpectedly, presenting a risk of physical injury.”
They added: “We’re sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you for your understanding.”
Customers who have bought the affected product should not drink it and should instead dispose of it safely.
This should be done by handling the cans as little as possible, placing them carefully and upright in a sealed bag, and disposing of them with household waste.
The cans should not be returned to a store. Instead, customers should present proof of purchase to receive a full refund.
