Jonny Wilkinson‑owned health drinks brand, One Living, has issued a recall due to potential consumer injury risk.

One Living, which produces a range of kombucha, health shots and water kefir drinks, has recalled its Organic Raspberry & Pomegranate Kombucha because there is a risk that the bottle caps may pop off unexpectedly as a result of over‑fermentation, which may cause injury.

Based in London, the firm was founded by former England rugby captain and 2003 World Cup‑winning hero Jonny Wilkinson in 2018, inspired by his own experiences brewing raw kombucha with his nutritionist wife Shelley Jenkins.

It would seem however, that One Living’s Raspberry & Pomegranate Kombucha packs a little too much punch, with all bottles of the above product (330ml) with a best before date of 14 December 2026 now recalled.

In its notice, the firm explained that it was recalling the product due to a “small number of reports where over‑fermentation of the liquid has caused the bottle lid to pop.”

Affected customers have been asked to avoid “unnecessary handling” of the product, and to “safely” dispose of it in an external waste bin instead of attempting to return it to a store. Impacted consumers will be granted a full refund.
