Apetito/Wiltshire Farm Foods has named a new director of manufacturing as the business looks to support its future growth ambitions.

Chris Dawks has been promoted to director of manufacturing at the meals provider, having served as general manager of apetito’s manufacturing operations since 2018.

During that time, Dawks led end-to-end manufacturing performance across all areas of the business, overseeing quality, efficiency and service.

“I’m delighted to take on the role of director of manufacturing. Having worked closely with our manufacturing teams over the past eight years, I’ve seen first-hand the passion, expertise and commitment that exists across the business,” Dawks commented.

“I’m looking forward to building on the excellent work already taking place across our operations, continuing to strengthen our capabilities and ensuring we remain well placed to support our customers, drive sustainable growth and continue making a real difference through the quality, service and safety standards that underpin everything we do.”

Dawks will also join the company’s UK executive board.

Apetito says his appointment reflects its ongoing focus to meet the evolving needs of its consumers, while also supporting its continued growth and long-term ambitions.
