Capri-Sun has recalled the batches due to a labelling error.

Juice manufacturer Capri-Sun has recalled one of its 10-pack products because some zero-sugar batches were incorrectly labelled.

Capri-Sun UK Limited is recalling specific batches of its Capri-Sun Orange product because some multipacks contain pouches incorrectly labelled as Capri-Sun Orange Zero.

The pouches in fact contain regular Capri-Sun Orange with the normal sugar level for that product, as correctly stated on the multipack.

They do not contain the Capri-Sun Zero product. This presents a potential risk to consumers who need to manage their sugar intake.

The recall applies to Northern Ireland only and includes 10 x 200ml packs of Capri-Sun Orange with the batch codes L104, L105 and L106, with a best-before date of 1 April 2027.

In its customer notice, the German firm’s UK managing director, Matthew Done, said the erroneous labelling may “mislead customers who need to monitor their sugar intake, including individuals with diabetes.”

Capri-Sun clarified that no other products were impacted by the recall, adding: “We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank consumers for their cooperation.”

Affected consumers should not consume the product and should instead return the listed items to the store from which they were purchased for a full refund. No receipt is required.
