Lidl recalls chocolate drinking sticks
Lidl has been forced to recall four varieties of its Deluxe Drinking Chocolate Sticks, as they contain various allergens that are not legible on the packaging.
The ingredients are not written in English on the packaging, making the products a possible health risk to anyone with an allergy to soya or an allergy or intolerance to milk, nuts, wheat or gluten.
Varieties included in the recall included Fine Dark Chocolate, Fine Hazelnut, with Speculoss and Fine White Chocolate. All packs are 60g and have the best-before date of August 28 2018.
Consumers with an allergy or intolerance to any of the ingredients were advised to return the products to the store where they were bought to receive a full refund.
Lidl also recalled two variants of its Sol & Mar Squid in Sunflower Oil. See previous slide for more details.
