IFST appoints new editor for journal
Professor of food science at Lincoln University in New Zealand Charles Brennan has been appointed as the new editor-in-chief for the journal of the Institute of Food Science & Technology.
The International Journal of Food Science & Technology currently edited by Professor Chris Smith will be joint-edited by Smith and Brennan until Smith officially steps down in November.
Jon Poole, chief executive of the IFST, said: “We are delighted to have been able to appoint Charles as our new editor-in-chief and look forward to working with him as he builds on the success of IJFST and develops the Journal in what appears to be a new and exciting era in research publishing.”
