The US manufacturer is recalling its Doritos Chilli Heatwave snack because some packs contain milk that is not listed on the label. Some packs may have been filled with the wrong product, which contains milk.
The withdrawal covers all 180g and 140g packs of the product with the batch codes GBC 209 184C and GBC 209 185C, and a best-before date of 5 December 2026.
In its customer notice, PepsiCo said: “Some packs may contain Tangy Cheese seasoning, which contains milk, and are therefore incorrectly labelled.
“Although this product includes precautionary allergen labelling for milk, milk is not included in the ingredients list and therefore the product poses a risk to people with an allergy to milk.”
Any affected customers who have an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents should not consume the product and should instead return it to the store from which it was purchased for a full refund.
