A major supermarket retailer is recalling one of its baked snack products because of undeclared milk.

Morrisons is pulling its Maple & Bacon Back of the Net product from shelves because some packs contain milk which is not listed on the label.

Some packs may have been packed with the wrong product, which contains milk. As a result, this poses a potential risk to consumers with a milk intolerance or allergy.

As part of the recall, the retailer is recalling all 140g packs of the product with a best before date of 22 August 2026.

In its notice, Morrisons said: “Please do not eat this product and return it to your nearest store for a full refund. We don’t need a receipt.

“No other products are affected by this issue. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and assure customers of our continuing commitment to the highest standard of product quality and safety.”
