Nestlé has named a business executive officer to oversee its new nutrition & health business across the UK and Ireland.

Gordon Yule has taken responsibility of Nestlé UK and Ireland’s new nutrition and health arm, effective immediately.

The appointment comes as Nestlé brings together its nutrition and health science teams with a focus on supporting nutrition, health and wellbeing across various life stages.

Yule joined Nestlé Health Science from the Bountiful organisation. A number of core brands from the Bountiful Company portfolio were acquired by Nestlé in 2021, including Nature’s Bounty and Solar.

Over the last four years, Yule has been heading up the integration of the business, brands and people into a single team.

During this tenure, Nestlé Health Science has become the fastest‑growing medical nutrition company in the UK & Ireland, while Solgar has established itself as a leading premium vitamin brand in the market.

In his new role, Yule will be responsible for overseeing Nestlé’s new nutrition and health science business, working with the leadership team to ensure stability, clarity and momentum as these two business segments come together.

“I’m proud to take on this role at such an important moment for Nestlé Nutrition & Health,” commented Yule.

“By bringing together our expertise, science and passion, we have a real opportunity to build something powerful for the consumers, patients and customers who rely on us every day.

“I’m looking forward to working with the teams as we advance growth and innovation in core segments like infant and medical nutrition, while also expanding into fast-growing areas such as adult nutrition, including women’s health, weight management, active and protein focused lifestyles, and healthy longevity to unlock the full potential of this new organisation together”
