Tulip site director Peter Broomfield picked up the award for Site Team of the Year at this year’s Food Manufacture Excellence Awards (FMEAs) at the Hilton on Park Lane hotel in London.

In this exclusive video interview, filmed at the Big Top-themed awards, Broomfield congratulated his team on their hard work over the past 18 months and his pride in collecting the award on behalf of more than 500 staff.

Commenting on the night, Broomfield said: “It recognises hard work. The food industry is notoriously fast-paced and I think you’re only as good as your last week, so take a moment to reflect on some great achievements over the last 12 months.

‘It re-energises me’

“I think it’s worthwhile, because it re-energises me and hopefully the rest of the team for the year ahead.”

This year’s FMEAs, sponsored by KDH Projects and Systems Integration, shone a light on the best and brightest in the food and drink manufacturing industry, celebrating their achievements across a wide range of categories.
