In this exclusive video interview, Tynan attributed the plethora of wins at the 2018 awards to the company’s committed and focused team.
Commenting on the night, Tynan said: “I like the atmosphere between large companies, small companies. It’s really good. There’s no retribution [between businesses], it’s just good fun and everybody is cheering for each other.”
The FMEAs’ judging panel, led by Stobart Group chairman Iain Ferguson, praised the meat processor for championing a tough stance on modern slavery and illegal gangmasters, as well as driving a comprehensive programme of environmental initiatives.
‘Best in class’
One judge on the panel described ABP UK as “fantastic, best in class”, while another said: “They are industry leaders and take their leadership very seriously.”
Last week’s FMEAs, sponsored by KDH Projects and Systems Integration, shone a light on the best and brightest in the food and drink manufacturing industry, celebrating their achievements across a wide range of categories.
