Food Manufacture: 2014 editorial calendar

This year is predicted by most leading UK food industry commentators to be one of the most significant ever in terms of political and regulatory scrutiny of the sector. It is also set to be one of economic and environmental uncertainty.

With a raft of new regulatory controls coming into effect or planned and increasing focus by politicians, as they try to win over the electorate in advance of the 2015 general election, food and drink supply chains are expected to be in the spotlight as never before.

Stay one step ahead

Food Manufacture’s 2014 editorial features programme (below) has been specially designed to help companies in the sector stay one step ahead of the game in the volatile economic and political climate they face.

From the introduction of new food safety controls, plus traceability and supply chain systems following last year’s horsemeat contamination scandal to the new Food Information for Consumers Regulation; from pressure on manufacturers to reformulate their products to make them healthier to front of pack labelling; and from the latest production equipment and methodologies to ensure firms remain world class to the latest sustainability initiatives being undertaken, Food Manufacture provides a single authoritative source of information for food industry professionals.
