2 Sisters boss Ranjit Singh buys a turkey business
2 Sisters Food Group boss Ranjit Singh, the founder of Boparan Holdings, acquired the Grove Farms turkey business based in Monaghan, Ireland.
The investment by Boparan was understood to be a private deal and the new acquisition will not be part of 2 Sisters Food Group.
The financial details of the proposed deal were not disclosed.
Amber Real Estate Investments (Ireland) – part of the AREIL Group of companies owned by Ranjit Boparan and Baljinder Boparan – acquired Grove Farms from Grove Turkeys.
The purchase included a turkey production and supply facility.
Boparan’s private office said: “The existing Grove management team and staff will transfer and the business will continue to operate from its current site as part of the Boparan Private office.”
