Dairy Crest appoints new executive director
Dairy Crest has appointed Adam Braithwaite as an executive director, effective from today (July 20).
The decision to appoint Braithwaite was made at a Dairy Crest meeting earlier the same day.
Braithwaite – who has been with the company for the past 14 years – will be moving from his current role as group commercial director, which he started in 2013.
Joining Dairy Crest in 2002, he has held roles in a number of senior management positions within the company, including sales director from 2008–2013.
Dairy Crest said his appointment “recognises the significance of his role and his valuable contribution to Dairy Crest”.
Braithwaite said: “Having spent fourteen years at Dairy Crest, I am delighted and proud to now sit on the Executive Board.
“As Group Commercial Director, I am responsible for our sales and marketing departments.
“I am also extremely excited about the future growth prospects for Dairy Crest and will be driving our ambitious innovation strategy.”
