Food labelling webinar
February marked the first webinar of three hosted by the Food Manufacture Group during 2014. The ‘Food Information for Consumers Regulation– what you need to know’ webinar debated the latest thinking on new mandatory labelling rules implemented on December 13.
A crack team of expert speakers were assembled – including legal expert from law firm DWF Dominic Watkins, Premier Foods’s Alasdair Tucker, Campden BRI’s Stephen Spice and the Trading Standards Institute’s Corinne Lowe – to arm listeners with all the information needed to comply with the regulation.
The webinar attracted an audience of nearly 1,000, who submitted hundreds of questions.

Spice warned of “colossal costs” and the “truly enormous” challenge food firms faced complying with the new EU regulation.
