Once the mustard has been milled it is either packed into tins as dry mustard flour or into jars as ready-to-use (wet) mustard.
There are four dry packing lines packing mustard flour into either 57g, 113g, 454g or 2kg tins.
Colman’s packing lines are only a couple of years old and a stark contrast to the company’s other processing facilities.
More than 600t of dry mustard is packed in the 20-year-old building each year.
