Thomas Conquet has been named managing director (MD) of Nestlé Waters & Premium Beverages UK.

Conquet joins the division from the equivalent business in the United States, where he served as senior director of brand marketing for just over a year.

A longtime company employee, Conquet first joined the Swiss food and drink giant in 2008 from French dairy group Danone.

During his time with the manufacturer, he has held a wide variety of roles across its global network and has worked on some of the biggest brands in its portfolio, including Perrier, San Pellegrino, Acqua Panna, Nestlé Pure Life and Maggi.

The firm says that, during his time at Nestlé Waters & Premium Beverages in the US, Conquet played a “key role” in building and scaling the business while helping to drive growth, expand premium brands and strengthen “consumer-centric” initiatives.

In his new role, Conquet will lead the division as a standalone global business within the Nestlé Group, with responsibility for the S.Pellegrino, Acqua Panna, Buxton, Princes Gate and Nestlé Pure Life brands.

Speaking about his appointment, Conquet said: “I’m excited to be joining the team at such a pivotal time.

“The business has strong momentum and an exceptional portfolio of brands. I look forward to building on this success and delivering even more value for our customers and consumers.”

He succeeds Stefano Bolognese, who left Nestlé in April 2026 after 26 years with the company.

Last month, Nestlé announced the sale of a 50% stake in its Waters business to global investment firm Platinum Equity.

The agreement will see Nestlé’s Waters & Premium Beverages operations spun into a new standalone company, Peranel.

The deal is expected to close in the first half of 2027.
