The US firm’s new Hydrate+ drink blends real fruit juice, coconut water and magnesium to help maintain electrolyte balance and hydration.
Tropicana said the new hydration-focused drink has been designed for people who “want the benefits of coconut water without compromising on taste”.
The product will be available in two flavours: Pineapple with Coconut Water and Mango with Coconut Water.
Enriched with magnesium, each drink contains vitamins C, E, B1, B2 and B6, and forms part of the Chicago-based company’s pivot towards healthier options, as UK shoppers increasingly take wellbeing into account when purchasing beverages.
Leaning firmly into the better-for-you category, Tropicana added that Hydrate+ contains around 37–39 calories per 100ml, zero fat and no artificial ingredients.
Now available in Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Morrisons stores across the UK, as well as via Ocado, Tropicana’s Hydrate+ can be bought in 850ml cartons (RRP £3.50) in both Pineapple and Mango flavours, and 300ml bottles (RRP £2.50) in Pineapple flavour.
