Glinski broke the news in a LinkedIn post, citing the need to “recharge and reset” amid “personal family challenges.”
He leaves the Cornish-based free range egg producer on a high, with the business having experienced a strong year. Sales almost doubled in value, rising 95.7% to £51.7 million, while volume sales increased 59.1%.
Before making the switch to St Ewe, Glinski had spent a sizeable 15-year period of his career as head of commercial operations for hospitality firm the Rick Stein Group.
Glinski has overseen a remarkable period of growth during his time with the firm, with turnover standing at just £11.6 million in 2023.
In 2025, St Ewe was ranked 53rd in a list of the 100 fastest growing British businesses in The Sunday Times.
St Ewe is yet to announce a succession plan at this stage.
“St Ewe is in a strong position, with real momentum, and now feels like the right time for new leadership to take the business forward into its next phase,” Glinski wrote.
“As much as I would love to remain part of the journey, it is important that the next leader has the space to establish themselves and shape the future in their own way.”
He continued: “I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved together. The scale and pace of growth over the last five years has been exceptional, and something few businesses are bold enough to pursue.
“That success has been built on more than performance alone. It has been built on people, on relationships, and on a shared belief that we can do business in a positive, transparent and nurturing way.”
