Bradley Scanes has more than 13 years’ of experience in coaching, working with some of the world’s top athletes. This includes his role as high performance coach and physiotherapist to Formula One world champion, Max Verstappen.
Alongside motorsport, Scanes has also supported Olympic athletes in British gymnastics and basketball.
In this role, Scanes will focus on embedding ‘positive habits’ across the organisation, fine tuning proven processes, and ensuring the business continues to innovate.
AG Barr says this appointment reflects its continued commitment to creating an environment where people can flourish.

He will join AG Barr on 10 December 2025, reporting directly to Gowen.
This news follows several new hires for the business within its commercial team, including a new chief commercial officer.
