Myprotein Gooey Filled Cookie, Double Chocolate & Caramel is being recalled due to allergen risk.

THG Nutrition Limited, which owns a number of beauty and sports nutrition brands, is recalling Myprotein Gooey Filled Cookie, Double Chocolate & Caramel because it contains wheat (gluten) which is not mentioned on the label.

This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with coeliac disease, and/or an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten.

The cookie comes in either as in a single pack (75g) or in a box of 12 (12x75g). The recall is impacting all batch codes with a best before of 17 June 2025 to 16 July 2026.

In a statement, Myprotein said the recall is voluntary and “out of an abundance of caution”.

“We would like to reassure you that the product was produced, packaged, and labelled by a third-party manufacturer that holds a BRCGS Grade AA accreditation, which is the highest standard in food safety and quality,” the statement read.

“The issue identified affects a very limited number of batches from this external supplier. It’s important to note that only a very small portion of Myprotein products are produced externally. All of these partners meet strict BRCGS accreditation standards.

“The vast majority of Myprotein products are made in-house at our own state-of-the-art facilities, which also hold BRCGS Grade AA accreditation. This ensures full control over quality and safety across our product range.

“Your safety is our top priority, and we’re working closely with our manufacturing partner to understand how this happened and to make sure it doesn’t happen again.”
