Trio of launches for NOMO

Free-from chocolate brand NOMO has launched three new plant-based chocolate bars.

The new SKUs are hitting shelves across major UK supermarkets and include Salted Popcorn, Birthday Cake, and Cookie Dough.

The Salted Popcorn bar comes in a 32g bar and features roasted corn pieces and a touch of sea salt at a RRP of £1.50. The bar can be bought at Morrison’s, ASDA, Sainsbury’s and Ocado.

Its new Birthday Cake bar will be available in a larger 127g format at £3.90 RRP exclusively in Sainsbury’s, with the release marking NOMO’s sixth birthday.

The brand is also rolling out a Cookie Dough coutline bar in a 32g format at Morrison’s and Ocado. The product combines chocolate with a soft, crumbly cookie dough filling.

The release reflects continued strong demand for cookie dough chocolate – a category growing 47% in value year-on-year (Y-o-Y). NOMO says it is leading this growth, with its Cookie Dough line alone worth £3.76 million, having grown 26% in sales YoY, and holding a 47% value share of the total cookie dough chocolate segment.

Commenting, Tara Stevens, senior brand manager for NOMO said: “Consumer insight is at the heart of everything we do and these new flavours are bold, fun, and full of personality – perfect for our ever-growing base of fans looking for treats that fit their lifestyle.

“Our new flavours are ideal for everyday snacking but also everything from movie nights to birthday celebrations – moments that everyone can enjoy together, regardless of dietary needs.”

These launches join a new look and revamped website for the brand too.
