The Organic British brand All Things Butter, which attracted investment from the co-founders of Lucky Chap Entertainment, Josey McNamara and Thomas Ackerley, has achieved a major supermarket milestone.

From mid-March, UK shoppers will be able to buy All Things Butter’s debut range of butters in Sainsbury’s and Asda stores nationwide.

The brand launched last November, after a successful pre-seed funding round of more than £530k, which saw the co-founders of the production studio behind both Barbie and Saltburn investing. The brand also secured funding from serial investor, Adam Levene, who founded Hero (now known as Klarna).

Since then, it has witnessed a great first sales period, with more than 100,000 blocks of butter sold in its first 10 weeks.

Looking to ‘disrupt traditional, heritage-led dairy’, the brand has a range of flavoured butters that includes garlic & herb and chilli options.

The latest listings in Sainsbury’s and Asda marks a huge milestone for the brand, as its first in-store, major nationwide listings.

This adds to its current stockists, Ocado, Planet Organic, Gopuff, Zapp, Getir, Modern Milkman, alongside independents and wholesale.

Commenting on the major expansion for the brand, its co-founder Toby Hopkinson said the company was thrilled, whilst hinting that more was to come in 2024.

“We look forward to working with both supermarkets to strengthen our retail presence, support the British agriculture industry and highlight the versatility of butter, encouraging consumers to use it in their day-to-day cooking. We have an exciting year ahead at All Things Butter, so watch this space!”
