The Food Manufacture Excellence Awards and Business Leaders Forum have been postponed from 10 February to Thursday 17 March, due to uncertainty caused by delayed updates to COVID-19 guidance on face-to-face events.

In addition, Cherry Healey, co-presenter with Gregg Wallace of Inside the Factory, will host the 2022 awards evening at London's Hilton Bankside - the same venue as previously planned.

Wallace was the host of the 2018 awards.

The invitation-only Business Leaders Forum, which brings together senior food and drink manufacturing leaders, will also be held on the morning of 17 March at the same place as previously scheduled: 30 Euston Square in London. Attendees should receive the updated details, if they have not already done so.

There's still just under two months to go to the Food Manufacture Excellence Awards night and tables are selling fast for the black-tie dinner. Hundreds of top players in food and drink manufacturing have already signed up to attend, so would-be attendees will need to book fast to secure their place at what is an unparalleled networking forum. Don't delay - book your tickets today!

Rich Products, Müller Dairy (UK), ABP, Princes, Symington's, Cranswick, Mondelēz, Weetabix Food Company, Carr's Flour Mills and Dalehead Foods are among the finalists, and many more are in the full list. With Menzies the headline sponsor this year and Dawn Foods, Foodex, Foodman Jobs, Fowler Welch, Ingredion, KDH Projects and LI Europe also sponsoring, the annual ceremony was launched 22 years ago.

The winner of the Food Manufacture Business Leader of the Year 2022 will also be announced on the night. Reader voting has now closed for which of the six finalists should receive the trophy.
