Commenting on the business' award win, company PA Fatima Jara said: "It's been a tough and challenging year and our team have been working very hard. When we heard about such a high profile award, we were all so proud that we were recognised. It helps everybody to work harder and motivates us more to overcome any challenges. It goes to the whole team of Simply Doughnuts."
Simply Doughnuts impressed the judges at the 2021 Food Manufacture Excellence Awards for its ability to marry long shelf-life with high quality assurance standards and systems.
Master told Food Manufacture: "The main selling point for Simply Doughnuts is obviously long shelf-life and its uniqueness. That's our USP. We're always constantly looking to improve and enhance the quality even further but maybe extending further days of the shelf-life and not compromising on the quality at the same time."
