MacIntyre has upgraded its refiner and conche range
A new refiner, scraping mixer and agitator claimed to offer greater flexibility and enhanced control of the refining process than previous models, has been introduced by equipment supplier MacIntyre Chocolate Systems.

With processing capacities from 500kg up to 5,000kg, the New Generation Refiner/Conche range is aimed at both small and large-batch production of a variety of products in the confectionery, savoury and baking sectors.

MacIntyre has improved the system’s programmable logic controller (PLC) software, so that product-specific sets of process parameters or recipes can be stored in the PLC and selected with a single touch of the control panel.

The system also features functions such as maintenance alerts, storing and download of actual run data, and accurate control of water and product temperatures.

The introduction of a pressurised air chocolate seal, and redesigned sealing assemblies is also aimed at improving seal-life to enable simpler maintenance and reduced downtime.
