As part of its 2018 Gourmet Christmas range, the retailer has created exploding cheese and bacon ‘bombs’, prosecco-flavoured salmon and chocolate pasta parcels. Its flagship product for this year, however, is the 35cm pig in blanket, made from 1.2kg of gluten-free sausage meat, wrapped in streaky bacon.
MuscleFood’s Christmas hampers are also returning for 2018. This year, its Luxury British Turkey Hamper contains enough food to feed 8-10 people on Christmas Day for £60. The hamper features a whole British turkey hen, free range heritage rump steaks, premium pigs in blankets, pork, sage and onion stuffing balls, streaky bacon rashers and premium turkey gravy, as well as a selection of exclusive Christmas freebies from tea towels to recipe binders.
The hampers also include disposable roasting trays and recipes by acclaimed chefs for Christmas leftover dishes.
