Alternative dairy company Delamere Dairy is set to launch a new range of plant-based drinks for consumption in or out of home.

Launching in August, Planted will hit store shelves with two products, Oat Drink with banana; and Coconut Drink with Cocoa, both in 1 litre cartons.

Delamere will follow this launch with the release of four 330ml on-the-go varieties, including two extra flavours, Almond Drink with Coffee and Oat Drink with Date & Vanilla.

Suitable for consumers choosing to follow a Vegan diet, the products are a source of calcium, vitamin D and vitamin B12.

At least 2p from every 1 litre carton sold will be donated to the Woodland Trust to help plant and protect trees and woods across the UK.

Own-label experience

Delamere Dairy has been supplying plant-based drinks to own label brands for more than 20 years. Planted is the company’s first branded launch.

The range goes on sale on 6 August in Asda, with more products and stockists following. The Oat Drink with Banana and Coconut Drink with Cocoa have a recommended retail price of £2.20 for 1 litre cartons.

Founded in 1985, Delamere Dairy has more than 33 years’ experience in manufacturing dairy alternatives and free-from products.

The company sells a range of goats’ milk-based speciality dairy products – cheese, yogurt, butter and milk – cows’ milk, lactose free, and a wide range of plant based drinks including soya, oat, rice, coconut and almond.
