Tonbridge firm Blagden will supply Taiyo’s range of functional food and beverage ingredients exclusively to the UK and Ireland.
Blagden chief executive Graham Turton anticipated “considerable demand” for Taiyo’s ingredients, in particular for dietary sports drinks and protein shakes. “There’s a real demand for natural, innovative ingredients that bring added health,” he said.
