Lean manufacturing webinar: starts today at 11am

Food Manufacture’s lean and green food and drink manufacturing webinar – featuring Marks & Spencer (M&S), Greencore and Lauras International – takes place today at 11am.

Taking centre stage at the free, one-hour webinar will be the latest thinking on lean and green food and drink manufacturing techniques and evaluation processes.

Four speakers will each deliver a brief presentation on a different aspect of lean and green manufacturing before answering questions submitted live by the webinar audience.

M&S head of responsible sourcing and packaging and Plan A Louise Nicholls will consider what the pioneering retailer expects from its food and drink suppliers.

Greencore’s group technical director Helen Sisson will explain how the convenience food manufacturer delivered cost savings from implementing lean manufacturing methods.
