‘More growth’ for Food Manufacturing Company of the Year 2012

The Food Manufacturing Company of the Year Iglo Foods – the Birds Eye brand owner – is set for growth next year, according to general manager at the Lowestoft factory Craig Hamilton. 

Hamilton spoke to Food Manufacture just minutes after picking up the top trophy​ at the 2012 Food Manufacturing Excellence Awards.

 The awards celebration took place at a gala dinner held at London’s Hilton Hotel, Park Lane, on Monday, November 5.

"Living its values"

Iglo was praised by the judges for “tackling thorny issues”​ and “living its values”.

Watch our exclusive video to hear what it meant for Iglo to pick up the prize, it’s second of the evening after also walking away with the Frozen Food Company of the Year award.

Hamilton also reflected on some of the tricky issues the firm has had to tackle and explained the strategies that have helped the company grow.

Meanwhile, Perween Warsi​  was selected as a the Personality of the Year.
