DF Manufacturing has undergone a management buyout, headed by general manager Nick Angus and Christine Moir, business development director at sister company New Ivory.
The newly created company, which supplies sauces, dressings and marinades to the foodservice sector, has been named Jigsaw Foods. It is looking to focus on developing the cryogenic side of its business to expand its sales of quick-frozen products.
Simon Bursell, corporate finance partner at Dains, which advised DF Manufacturing on the deal, said the transformed firm was hungry for growth. “They have ambitious plans to double turnover in the next three years and have already made a strong start towards achieving this goal.”
