Ed Culf has been appointed to the role of commercial director for General Mills UK's new combined dough business.
Managing the newly integrated Jus-Rol and Saxby's pastry businesses, Culf will be responsible for the sales and marketing functions for both brands and will be based at General Mills UK's headquarters in Uxbridge, Middlesex. He will also be responsible for operations at the company's pastry making facilities in Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland, where the Jus-Rol range of frozen pastry products and Saxby's chilled pastry products are manufactured.
"Ed's experience and expertise in the field of sales, marketing and manufacturing will be invaluable in his new role," says General Mills UK md Jim Moseley. "He will continue to be a great asset to General Mills."
In his previous role as business integration manager for General Mills UK, Culf led the successful integration of Saxby's into the General Mills portfolio following the company's acquisition of the brand in February 2007.
Culf says: "By acquiring Saxby's, we have added the leading chilled pastry business to our market-leading Jus-Rol frozen pastry offer, meaning we are in the best position possible to develop and grow the pastry market in the UK."
