Ingredients supplier Fuerst Day Lawson (FDL) is strengthening its Seeds and Natural Products division with the internal appointment of Marni Anderson as senior shipping and logistics manager.
Anderson, who joined FDL just over a year ago as shipping manager, will be reporting to Frank Horan, director of the division.
Her new role will include responsibilities for the management and co-ordination of the seeds shipping team, negotiating and monitoring freight and transport rates, management of incoming shipments and call-off.
Before joining FDL, Anderson worked as a trader with Mitsui Australia specialising in dairy exports to Japan and China.
FDL’s Seeds and Natural Products Division specialises in sourcing products, such as sesame, poppy and sunflower seeds from many countries throughout the world and the UK.
