A Kraft factory at Bridgend, South Wales which employs 190 people making Altoid mints, mainly for export to the US, and some travel sweets for the UK and elsewhere, is to be transferred to Wrigley as part of an $1.48bn international sale by Kraft of confectionery businesses to the gum maker.
Most of the businesses to be transferred, by the middle of 2005, are in the US.
