The latest LD label dispensers from Multivac Marking & Inspection are optionally available for use under strict hygiene requirements, or for use in low-risk areas.

An independent testing and certification body has certified the models in the hygiene version as belonging to the protection class IP69K. For label dispensers, LD 100 protection class IP54 is sufficient in the low-risk area (5: protection against ingress of dust in harmful quantities; 4: protection against splashing water). However, the units in the hygiene version comply with the requirements of protection class IP69K.

The classification of protection class IP69K confirms that the label dispenser is dustproof (code 6), that water cannot penetrate into the interior even with high-pressure cleaning (code 9) and that water temperatures up to 80°C can be withstood (additional code K).

Thanks to these properties, they can withstand high-pressure cleaning with hot water without damage, which packaging and labelling systems are regularly exposed to in the food industry.
