EFSA approves lemon balm
Natural Mg Lemon Balm Inside Co is obtained by an aqueous and patented process developed to preserve the best quality of the lemon balm.
The product contains more than 8% of magnesium and 2% of hydroxycinnamic acid. Thanks to the high magnesium content, it is easy to include it in nutraceutical or food formulation, in respect of EC1924/2006, which provides EFSA-approved health claims.
Natural Mg Lemon Balm Inside Co is developed from the aerial parts of an organic lemon balm raw material. Used since the middle ages as a traditional herbal remedy against stress and sleep disorders, lemon balm belongs to the French pharmacopeia (XIe edition). It is nowadays a European traditional food with scientific evidence on psychosomatic symptoms.
