New service for pumps launched

AVT Reliability, a new company created by the merger of AV Technology and Aespump, which brings together established experts in plant reliability and maintenance and pump management, was launched at the Maintec show held at The National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham in March 2015.

With a combined force of more than 160 maintenance professionals and eight workshops, AVT Reliability will provide a programme covering: pump management; asset integrity and performance monitoring; maintenance consultancy; and extensive training.

“Consolidating the AV Technology and Aespump businesses under one banner was a natural progression, allowing us to offer customers a holistic, comprehensive maintenance service to increase their asset availability and component life,” says John Chappell, md of AVT Reliability. “AVT Reliability is now the largest independent provider of condition-based maintenance and asset management support, covering the UK, Ireland and Benelux.”

AVT Reliability operates a condition-based maintenance system called Machine Sentry, which enables effective planning and management of maintenance through integrated data collection and analysis. It is used at over 200 sites nationwide.
