Automation specialist Quasar Automation will be launching the Soni-Cut tray bake cutting and portioning system at the Total Processing and Packaging Exhibition.

Developed for cutting and portioning tray-baked products, the Soni-Cut system uses a combination of a servo-driven conveyor and three further servo axes to provide flexibility for lateral and longitudinal cuts on a wide range of products, using the latest ultrasonic technology.

The system enables either fully integrated or standalone operation, to suit low-, medium- or high-volume production.
