Woodward keeps cool
High performance composite insulation panels from Kingspan Controlled Environments based on the polymer filling polyisocyanurate, are keeping Woodward Foodservice's chilled distribution facility in Witton, West Midlands cool.
The 7,500m2 facility has been expanded and now includes a chill store, a chilled marshalling area and an ambient store. Kingspan Controlled Environments' KS1150CS panels have been chosen because of their high-performance thermal properties and their light weight and ease and speed of installation.
The panels also have Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) and Factory Mutual insurance approvals.
They also offer better 'walk-on' ceiling spans than other manufacturers' panels, it is claimed.
The panels are fibre-free and can manage temperatures from -40°C to +40°C.
