Air Products has been offering food grade gases (nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide) and technical expertise to the food industry in the UK for over 60 years. Our gas enabling equipment includes state of the art tunnel and batch freezers, liquid nitrogen injection systems and other bespoke engineering to facilitate crust freezing, IQF, mixing, forming and grinding. In addition to the Freshline® SafeChill™ system, an effective way to eliminate campylobacter in poultry, we specialize in cryogenic freezing and chilling with mode of gas supply tailored to each unique situation. We also help customers extend the shelf life of their products and improve their safety and quality through modified atmosphere packaging gases. We provide technical expertise in the industry with the ability to host food trials at our R&D facility in Basingstoke.
