A recent BOC food industry survey revealed that decarbonisation is currently a lower priority for food and drink manufacturers than rising costs and an ongoing skills shortage. But changes that will drive industry towards net zero targets are looming – increasingly, the imperative to change is being recognised and businesses that fail to act may see themselves falling behind.
