The winner is set to be revealed as part of the wider Food Manufacture Excellence Awards, taking place the London Hilton Bankside on 5 February 2026. Tickets are available to purchase here.
This year’s awards are supported by headline sponsor Menzies, and event sponsors Domino Printing Sciences, Reed, Langdon, and Multivac UK.
Head judge and independent food safety consultant Alec Kyriakides spoke ahead of the event: “The judges were impressed with the calibre of entries for the Food Integrity Award and there were some stand out submissions.
“But this is only the first stage of the process and we know from previous years that successful applicants have a habit of pulling out the stops when they meet the judges face to face.
He added: “We cannot wait to hear the applicants bring their stories to life in the next stage of the process when we will have the tough task of choosing a winner of the Food Integrity Award 2026.”
Daily Dose
South-west London-based Daily Dose is a big believer in integrity, with the purity of its juice-making process at the heart of business proposition.
Having maintained BRC AA+ accreditation for over five consecutive years, food safety culture is deeply ingrained in Daily Dose’s operations.

Working closely with farmers and suppliers to ensure they hold relevant certifications, the firm actively supports smaller suppliers to improve compliance and meet specifications.
A certified B-Corp, sustainability is a core pillar of Daily Dose’s strategy. It has invested in balers and a compactor, and now sends pulp waste to anaerobic digestion to generate green energy. Going one step further, the business is set to transition to 100% renewable electricity, cutting its carbon footprint further.
Committed to only using cold-pressed fruits and vegetables, Daily Dose never uses concentrates or additives in a bid to deliver what it calls “genuine nutritional value”.
Its HPP technology preserves vitamins and enzymes while ensuring food safety, with recipes crafted to balance taste and function, using nutritious ingredients like ginger, turmeric, and leafy greens.
To ensure that safety and integrity standards are maintained, the firm holds regular briefings, refresher training, and aims to foster a “stop and escalate” culture to empower all staff to act quickly.
Premier Foods
One of the UK’s largest food businesses, Premier Foods is the manufacturer behind some of the nation’s most well-loved brands including such household names as Mr Kipling, Ambrosia, Bird’s Custard, Sharwood’s, Oxo, and Bisto.
Headquartered in St Alban’s and first set up in the mid-70s, the company has gone from strength to strength in the intervening decades through a series of big-name acquisitions, most notably its buyout of direct rival Rank Hovis McDougall for £1.2 billion in 2007.

Naturally, with such a large business, food safety and integrity is paramount to the smooth running of its operations.
Its key measures include a biannual survey, with the latest one showing a four point increase in culture scores across the company.
It uses this data to guide its action plans and it forms a key part of its ‘people pillar’ in its supply chain strategy.
In light of developments in recent years, Premier Foods has also committed to developing and reformulating products that meet non-HFSS classification, to help support healthier choices and responsible innovation.
The firm is also dedicated to making sure its supply chain is authentic, and it looks to ensure this by working closely with procurement, technical, and with suppliers.
The Turmeric Co.
Set up by former Wales, Reading and West Brom star Hal Robson-Kanu in 2018, this turmeric shot business has gone from strength to strength since he hung up his boots in 2021.
What might first have been dismissed as just a pet project, Robson-Kanu has now taken The Turmeric Co firmly into the mainstream of the health foods space.
And while most people might still associate him with ‘that’ goal against Belgium in the Euro 2016 quarter-finals, Robson-Kanu has steadily built up his business into a serious outfit, which now boasts purpose-built facilities that meet the highest level of the Global Food Safety Standard.

Headquartered in rural Cambridgeshire, the firm has undoubtedly benefited from its famous founder, having partnered with a range of elite sport teams including the Leicester Tigers and Sale Sharks in Premiership Rugby, Brentford and Everton in the Premier League as well as British Gymnastics.
The Turmeric Co aims to ensure its products are both nutritious and beneficial to public health by combining natural ingredients with evidence-based formulation.
All its products are fully traceable, and it only uses fresh root ingredients, pledging never to use powders, artificial additives, or shortcuts. Transparency is communicated through clear labelling, consumer education, and open partnerships.
